How can journalists obtain CASAFARI property figures?

Journalists covering European residential markets may request tailored asking price data and methodology directly from our press office at press@casafari.com. Market statistics and qualitative intelligence are available through the following channels:

  • Custom figures and methodological context supplied on request by our press office.
  • Ready-made analytical reports, such as our example press reports, with bespoke reports prepared for your story upon request.
  • Direct press access to CASAFARI data within AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT via our MCP servers, with press tokens from our press office.
  • Our published area guides covering major European cities and regions.
  • Our Area Insights platform for real estate professionals.

How does press access to CASAFARI data work?

Journalists and data desks can query CASAFARI data directly in their own AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, through the CASAFARI MCP servers. Press access covers Area Insights, Claro AI (read only) and Location Lookup, with 15,000 tokens for 90 days. Our press office issues access codes on request at press@casafari.com.

How do I request press access?

Write to press@casafari.com from your outlet's email address, with a link to your author page or press card. Freelance journalists send a link to a recent byline.

Press access includes Area Insights, Claro AI in read-only mode and Location Lookup, which turns place names into CASAFARI locations. No other CASAFARI products are included for now. Besides the tokens, requests are limited to 10 a minute, 100 in any three hours, 200 a day and 600 a week, with up to 20 different places a day. There is no CSV download and no CASAFARI-hosted chat: you work with the data in your own assistant.

What happens once the code arrives?

  1. Sign in once at the CASAFARI console and redeem the code on the dashboard, in the box "Have a press access code?", with the button "Redeem code".
  2. Connect the Area Insights and Claro AI MCP servers in your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another), signing in with the same email address.

Which rules apply to press access?

These conditions keep the press tier fair for every newsroom:

  • Codes are personal.
  • A newsroom's code only works with an email address on that outlet's domain.
  • A freelancer's code can be redeemed once.
  • Codes are not for CASAFARI clients or for companies in the property business.
  • Misuse means the code is withdrawn, which also disconnects your assistant.
  • At the end of the press period, the account returns to the Free plan and the assistant connections end.

Which licence covers data from press access?

What you retrieve through press access may be used in published journalism, credited "Source: CASAFARI (casafari.com/data)" with a link. Bulk redistribution, resale, training AI models and scraping beyond the quota are not permitted. The open figures on this page remain under CC BY 4.0, as described below.

What is in the press kit?

How should CASAFARI data be cited in articles?

When publishing figures provided by CASAFARI, please include a clear citation line attributing the source and indicating that the statistics reflect asking prices. We ask that online publications include a hyperlink to CASAFARI.

"Average asking price per m² for apartments for sale in Lisbon, September 2026. Source: CASAFARI (asking prices)."

Journalists may quote and chart any statistics published by CASAFARI or provided by our press office. All figures published or provided by our press office are licensed under CC BY 4.0: anyone may share and adapt them, commercial use included, provided they credit CASAFARI with the citation line, the period and, online, a link. For full details on how our metrics are calculated, please refer to our methodology page.

Where can I download the CASAFARI logo and brand assets?

Please follow these presentation rules:

  • Do not recolour, stretch or redraw the logo or icon.
  • Maintain clear surrounding space around the mark at all times.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions from journalists and media desks

Here are answers to the most common queries regarding our data, citations and media support.

Can I quote CASAFARI figures, and how should I cite them?

Yes, journalists may freely quote and chart figures that CASAFARI publishes or provides upon request. All figures are released under the CC BY 4.0 licence, allowing anyone to share and adapt them, commercially too, provided attribution is given. Every citation should include our name, the relevant period and a statement that the data reflects asking prices. Online articles should link directly to the CASAFARI press page.

Are CASAFARI figures sale prices or asking prices?

All figures computed by CASAFARI reflect asking prices as advertised by sellers and landlords on portals and agency websites. They do not represent transaction prices recorded in notarial deeds, land registries or mortgage valuations. Final sale prices may differ from initial or final asking prices.

Which countries and cities does CASAFARI cover?

CASAFARI covers 16 countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. While coverage spans both residential and commercial sectors in most markets, in the United States, which CASAFARI is now entering in selected states, coverage is limited to commercial real estate only, via Claro AI, with no residential data. Coverage depth and historical availability vary by country and region.

How do I get figures for a story or a specific city?

Journalists can request tailored asking price data and full methodological context directly from the CASAFARI press office for any covered location or market segment. We also offer ready-made market reports, bespoke report drafting for specific stories, and press tokens for querying CASAFARI data directly through AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT via our MCP servers. Additionally, you are welcome to consult CASAFARI's public area guides or access market statistics through Area Insights.

Can I use the CASAFARI logo in my article or broadcast?

Yes, you may use official CASAFARI brand assets in published articles or video broadcasts. The logo section of this page offers the marks of CASAFARI, the CASAFARI application, the CASAFARI platform and Claro AI as SVG files or transparent PNGs. Please ensure the logo is not recoloured or distorted, and write CASAFARI in capital letters in text.

Can I interview a CASAFARI spokesperson?

Yes, the CASAFARI press office can arrange interviews with our designated subject-matter spokespeople on working days. Interviews can cover European housing trends, asking price developments and market methodology across various languages. Please reach out to our press contact with your topic and deadline.

How can a journalist use CASAFARI data in Claude or ChatGPT?

Ask our press office at press@casafari.com for a press access code, writing from your outlet's email address. Redeem the code once in the CASAFARI console at platform.casafari.com, then connect the Area Insights and Claro AI MCP servers in your assistant, signing in with the same email address. Press access comes with 15,000 tokens for 90 days and an editorial-use licence.
